VANDA MURRAY OBE JOINS KEY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS LTD (KMS)

Vanda Murray OBE, former CEO of Blick plc, has today been appointed as Non-Executive Chair of KMS, the specialist tenant access management company to apply her extensive industry experience to help KMS continue its impressive growth.

From 2001-2004, Vanda was Chief Executive Officer of Blick plc, a FTSE quoted company.
During her tenure as CEO she refocused the Blick Group on higher value differentiated products and markets. She succeeded in doubling its value on the Stock Exchange prior to its acquisition by The Stanley Works, a U.S. corporation in 2004.

Vanda has extensive international experience gained in the USA, S.E. Asia and Europe and speaks fluent French. She holds a number of Non-Executive Directorships in both the public and private sectors; she is a Non-Executive Director of Carillion plc and of SIG plc and also Chairs Business Link North West and is Deputy Chair of the North West Development Agency.

Vanda has a B.A. (Hons) in European Business Administration and a DESEM (French Business Diploma) gained from Rheims Management School, France. She has held senior positions in various industries, including Support Services, Construction and Electronic Security/Integrated Systems.

In 2002, she was awarded an OBE for her Services to Industry and to Export and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
